We contacted Warrentech that our refrigerator upper door has a defective gasket. First they approve the claim, then deny, the approve AND sent a tech out who had no clue why he was dispatched as he did not have the gasket to replace it.
Why was he dispatched? Then we call (this has been back and forth for 5 months) and posted on social media to get the attention of the escalation department. They CLAIM that the upper door pictured and the bottom pull out door are one of the same unit and because the bottom door is defective, another claim they refused to cover, they denied the upper door claiming that they are connected. I sent photos and proved that Appliance Repair Heroes (another joke) gave them wrong information that these are two SEPARATE doors.
Clearly anyone can see these door are separate!
Claim denied...feel so totally ripped off by this "extended warranty". What a total joke!
