We purchase an extended warranty with the purchase of our 2013 yukon xl denali in 2015. We paid $2,900.00 for the warranty.

We have only had one problem with this vehicle and it has 103,000 miles on it. We had our vehicle towed to the only shop within 100 miles that even accepted this extended warranty. Warrantech requires that you maintain all vehicle service maintenance. We provided receipts for all oil changes.

They have their claims adjuster examine the vehicle a week ago. they inspected the vehicle on a wed. on Wed, Thurs, Friday and Monday, I emailed them to find out any information. No reply.

We called them on Monday, which is today. After about 20 minute hold. They tell us that they have tried to call repair shop multiple times with no answer. Seems funny to us, the repair shop answers by the second ring every time we call.

Warrantech tells my husband that our oil was low and burnt. Which is bull!!!! We take care of the maintenance, we checked the oil right before we had it towed to repair shop. our mechanic said the adjuster checked the oil on a hill.

hmmmm, wouldn't that affect the oil level?

So no they are re-evaluating the situation. We shall see how it turns out.
