We purchased a 5 year extended warranty on a LG Refrigerator We bought from Cowboy Maloney in Clinton, MS. The Model # is LFXS297662.

The refrigerator had a inner door for beverages, double ice maker, french doors and a freezer. It was a beautiful refrigerator, but is no good. The refrigerator stop working in two years of purchase. The claim was filed on December 9, 2018.

It took one month later for us to receive a store credit which was received on January 7,2019. The length of time for us to get a store credit was unacceptable. We had to go through the holidays with no refrigerator. We had to buy coolers and bags and bags of ice.

We were informed by the service provider (Miracle heating and cooling) which is the company that warrantech contracted to repair the refrigerator. After numerous of call to the Service provided they finally told us the part was on back order. They had no ideal when it would come in, and apparently they did not care. I notified warrantech about what we were told.

Initially, we were told by the service provider it would take 7 to 14 business days for the part to come in. That did not happen. After repeatedly contact with the warranty center they put in a request for a store credit. The first request was accidentally deleted were were told.

We had to call in once again to see what was the delay. The had to resubmit the request because they did not know what had happen to the first one. On top of that the exactly same refrigerator was $500.00 more than the store credit. Therefore, we could not get what we had at first because the price was more and Warrantech would not work with us.

We are displease with this entire situation, the service we got which was none. I can't begin to express how very dissatisfied with the length of time it took for a store credit which was not enough the the same type and model refrigerator we had previously purchased.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $2600.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Warrantech Cons: Awful.
