After 2 months they finally admitted that the TV was not repairable and yes, they credited me with the original purchase price to get (sigh!) another TV at HH Gregg. So we had no choice - hope the next one is better (J series 55" Samsung) Prhaps we are the only ones to actually get a buy-out from this company??

And...(we never learn, huh?) also got the extended warranty but this time it's with AMT Warranty (couldn't find complaints about that one)

For the 2nd time in 3 yrs our 55 inch Samsung TV died - first time main board was replaced (under original Samsung warranty) This time under Warrentech a new power supply, "TCON board" and main board did NOT fix the tv. -this info took 1 month to evaluate - but for the next month Warrentech keeps asking the repair company who worked on it many duplicative questions to hold off on what is the inevitable- a buy out! They are dragging their feet so badly and have no concern for the consumer.

So sorry I ever purchased this warranty - or a tv from HH Gregg to begin with.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $1100.

Preferred solution: Under Warranty am entitled to buy out - get another TV at HH Gregg.

Warrantech Cons: Given the runaround, Supervisors not available.
